brothers b'day

my bro Tatai's 19th b'day was celebrated on a small scale this year. Just my aunt-uncle:left in the pic, and us 5 people[as he,an engineering student, had his 2nd sem starting a few days from 31st May.]

During school life we used to have our summer vacs in May and over the years his b'day sort of became the day of the annual [ol' friends,cousins,uncles-aunts,family friends] get together party!The last 2/3 times we had it shifted on the roof from the rooms in an attempt to be relieved from the sticky Kolkata summers by the night breeze!
This time we all missed having the reunion. But after both of ours college annuals were over,some of us old buddies went out for lunch and had great fun! (one is being carried in arms as u have seen : P!)

Most of us have been friends from childhood and we are in the beginning steps of different careers;we lead different lifestyle and we have our varying likes/dislikes but growing up with them as kids and still being in touch in some way or the other feels good! But the credit for most of our hangout plans goes to my brother dearie. He always says " we have spent quality years of our childhood with them.. we should always keep in touch", when i'm not so interested in his plans! I have started realising his point of view now. In our case this friendship is not limited to us only, our families are also bonded!Its rare to get good friends these days. And to get a friend u gotta be a friend first. We too had our misunderstandings but still we have survived so far and hope to continue.
